As a proud graduate of Harvard Extension School (HES), I am honored to run for a Director position on the Harvard Extension Alumni Association (HEAA) Board. My experience at HES profoundly shaped my professional and personal growth, and I am eager to give back to this vibrant community by fostering deeper connections among alumni, strengthening our global network, and advancing lifelong learning opportunities.
With a career spanning over 20 years in professional experience, to include board governance, nonprofit management, and volunteering I have led high-impact initiatives that connect people, drive strategic engagement, and create meaningful change. At HES, I co-founded the Global Development Practice (GDP) Student Society to provide a platform for collaboration among students, alumni, faculty, and practitioners around the world. We worked closely with other Harvard organizations, including the Harvard Extension Student Environmental Club (HESEC), The Harvard Salata Institute, and GDP program leadership, to expand opportunities for engagement and knowledge-sharing. Through this experience, I saw firsthand the power of the HES community to create lasting impact.
As an HEAA Director, I will leverage my leadership and commitment to service to enhance alumni engagement, increase opportunities for professional development, and ensure that all graduates feel a lifelong connection to Harvard. My goal is to expand initiatives that support career growth, mentorship, and global networking, reinforcing HEAA’s role as a bridge between alumni and the broader Harvard community.
I am excited to serve, collaborate, and contribute to the continued success of HEAA. I appreciate your support and look forward to working together to build a stronger, more connected alumni network.
