I can contribute to HEAA through a combination of my varied industry business experience, educational institution experience, and board leadership experience. I commit to making all required interactions and meetings for HEAA support as well as in-person events. I will leverage my positive record of active engagement with multiple educational and industry organizations and bring similar commitment for HEAA. My understanding of Extension studies has been gained via degrees earned from Harvard, University of Phoenix, and UMASS as well as actual undergraduate distance education teaching experience.
I have been associated with 9 academic institutions at the undergraduate and graduate level as a student, instructor, and advisor. I began graduate coursework at George Mason University but then completed a full curriculum with the University of Phoenix to earn an MBA. At Harvard University I completed the MLA in IT. Then lastly at UMASS Dartmouth Charlton College of Business I earned a Graduate Certificate in International Business. In teaching and advisory roles, I was an Assistant Professorial Lecturer at GWU in the Computer Science Department teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I was the lead for Booz Allen Hamilton for their GWU Master of Science in Computer Science Cohorts. I am an Adjunct Professor at Keuka College in their Business Department, teaching undergraduate business and marketing courses for several years. I was a member of the Rochester Institute of Technology Academic Curriculum Advisory Group for the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. For undergraduate studies I started college at Villanova University studying Engineering and also took several courses at George Mason University while transferring to Lafayette College where I earned a BA in Engineering.
