I’m running for the HEAA Board of Directors because Harvard Extension School shaped my life, and I want to help strengthen the community that made that journey possible for me and for so many others.

I know the Extension experience from multiple angles: as an alumnus, as a long-time instructor, and as someone who works every day at the intersection of education, leadership, and real-world practice. Over the years I’ve seen how powerful the HES community is when we create clear pathways for connection, mentorship, and purposeful engagement across generations, geographies, and industries.

If re-elected, I will focus on three priorities. First, building stronger alumni-to-alumni connections, especially for graduates outside Cambridge, by creating more consistent programming and practical ways for alumni to find each other and collaborate. Second, supporting career and leadership development, helping alumni translate their HES education into opportunities, visibility, and impact. Third, deepening engagement with current students and new graduates so that the handoff into the alumni community feels welcoming, active, and meaningful.

I bring governance and operating experience from board and executive roles, and I have spent years designing and delivering programs for adult learners at scale. I also bring a global perspective, working across Latin America and with international faculty networks, and I care deeply about inclusion and access, values at the heart of the Extension mission.

I serve because I believe in lifelong learning, and because I want HES alumni to feel proud, connected, and supported long after graduation.
