Dear friends,
As we embark upon a season of gratitude and giving here in the United States, I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you.
It is an undeniable highlight of my tenure to have ventured to dozens of cities around the world, with our incredible deans, meeting over 25,000 of you. It is difficult to find the right words to describe the joy of meeting you; many of you on campus, whether to enjoy the rivalry that is Harvard v. Yale football, relish the spoils of a reunion sunset cruise, or to watch our newest alumni cross that stage on Commencement Day.
THANK YOU to our incredible volunteer leaders of the Harvard Extension Alumni Association board of directors, its many global chapters and committees, as well as those of you serving on the Harvard Alumni Association board of directors, Harvard Clubs and Shared Interest Groups. It is your generosity of talent, time, commitment, and passion that enables our community to continuously thrive.
Your Harvard journeys are incredibly diverse yet are exquisitely similar. We are forever bonded by the shared privilege of studying at this great university, for all that we endured to succeed here and for the opportunities and friendship it unlocks.
