Harvard Extension School was a game changer for me— that’s why I am interested in running for the HEAA Board of Directors. I graduated in 2021 with my master’s in liberal arts, focusing on journalism. To say I had a positive experience would be an understatement—my Harvard years ignited a passion in me for writing, connecting, and engaging. It ushered in a new career as a magazine writer that I find wildly fulfilling, and opened up many professional doors.
As a way to pay it forward, I am interested in working on the Board of Directors to promote the Harvard Extension School brand, fortify the Alumni Association, and communicate the mission of the school— shouting it from the rooftops, if I have to. My extensive background in journalism, public relations, and event planning will serve me well on the board, finding ways to connect alumni and strengthen relationships. I was blessed to attend such an extraordinary school, filled with fascinating people. I endeavor to be an HEAA evangelist in whatever way possible to serve and represent the alumni community.
