Johanna Hoyos holds a MSc. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology & Immunology with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Management, and recently earned a graduate certificate in Finance from the HES. Johanna is a published author and editor; and an advisor for a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified venture capital firm, prioritizing overlooked markets by merging technology, science, and sustainability to build a better future for all.
She is a former scientist turned executive who has taken various leadership positions at fortune 500 pharmaceutical industries and biotechnology companies. She enjoys integrating the science, business, finance, legal, risk, and quality management of strategic partnerships, alliances and co-development collaborations to successfully market products for unmet needs. Such as rare & ultra-rare genetic-based diseases, and inflammatory and infectious diseases. She is also a philanthropist, mentor, volunteer, and board member for HEAA (NY and LATAM Chapters).
