Having benefited immensely from Harvard Extension School through the mentorship from Professors, advise from related administration staff, enduring friendships from colleagues and yes, the consistent, encouraging and stimulating activities and information from our Harvard Extension Alumni, I am looking to serve my colleagues. It is through this immense support that I was accepted to the University of Cambridge to complete a PhD in education, which has served me extremely well in my career. This is an effort to give back to our school and community in enhancing our venerable traditions.
During my studies at the Extension School, I was a member of the Harvard Graduate Council and at the University of Cambridge I was elected to be the Graduate Student President. Currently sitting on the Board of Overcomers, an organization that has a vision for serving incoming refuges, and on the Board of a Montessori Elementary School, I hope to bring my experiences to the inspiring ongoing work by our present Board of Directors.
