There’s nothing that ignites my passion more than helping build our community. The energy that emerges when I meet with our incredible volunteers and HEAA leaders is both inspirational and powerful. Whether it’s an alum launching a chapter across the globe or someone asking how they can teach at our school, the message is clear: they want to stay connected, and they want to give back.
That energy, devotion, and enthusiasm is what propels our association forward. It’s why I’m running for re-election, to continue fostering a community where every alumnus feels they belong, their voice is heard, and their contributions matter, not just at Harvard, but far beyond.
Together, we’ve already made meaningful progress:
- Pioneered Learning Together and Teach Backs, empowering peer-led learning with thousands of registrants
- Reignited intellectual curiosity through Back to the Classroom, reconnecting alumni and professors in vibrant, lifelong learning
- Hosted hundreds of engagement events, sparking connections across the globe
- Built a strong foundation for local chapter growth and volunteer involvement
But we’re just getting started. In the next term, I will focus on:
- Expanding global and local chapters so that every alumnus finds a place to connect
- Revolutionizing our volunteer framework to make it easier to get involved
- Strengthening our leadership pipeline and championing alumni representation within the HAA
- Amplifying career support and mentorship to turn our network into a launchpad for professional success
- Creating more paths for alumni to give back academically as Teaching Fellows or HES instructors
My goals are ambitious, but they’re deeply rooted in what we’ve already proven is possible. Let’s keep building this incredible momentum together. The future of our alumni community is bright — and by extension, so is Harvard’s.
